Drive to Sarapiquí area, through the extraordinary rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves of Costa Rica.
Visits to the Sarapiquí River, Rain Forest Aerial Tram, & Braulio Carrillo National Park. Tour starts with a drive through the unforgettable rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves in Costa Rica.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sarapiquí River as you sit back and observe the wildlife around you. Afterwards, a scheduled hike on the private trails of Selva Verde Eco Lodge, a haven for nature enthusiasts, hikers, birdwatchers and wildlife seekers.
After a delicious lunch you will continue to the famous Rainforest Aerial Tram, a sanctuary which shelters an eco-touristic and research park unlike anywhere else in the world and experience the rain forest from a bird’s eye view.
The Rain Forest Aerial Tram – Atlantic is a 475-hectares (1,200-acre) private reserve that shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park, constituting a buffer zone between the park and farming lands.
