Day 1: SAN JOSE After you pass through customs, meet a Rain Forest Tours representative who will assist with your luggage. Relax as a driver whisks you away to HOTEL GRANO DE ORO for welcome drink and overnite stay. Check-in to your room and leisure time on your own to relax or explore your surroundings. A true oasis in the center of San Jose, this hotel exudes the charm and character of a stately mansion with the comfort and amenities of a fine hotel. Warmly decorated rooms and suites (all non-smoking), a secluded garden terrace with large jacuzzi, and courtyards with fountains and abundance of tropical plants and flowers in a quiet area west of the town center. Delicious meals and desserts served in the intimate dining room, adjacent sunroom and tropical courtyard Day 2: SAN JOSE / ARENAL After a festive breakfast on a private terrace overlooking the resort and at your desired time, your driver will pick you up for drive to the Arenal Volcano. There will be a stop for tour and lunch at La Paz Waterfall Gardens. When you think about Costa Rica, you probably imagine lush tropical Rain Forests, flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, and flowers. At La Paz Waterfall Gardens, you will see all that and more. After lunch, follow the winding road to Hotel Arenal Kioro — your home in the heart of the rainforest. This lodge offers an electrifying view of the Arenal Volcano, and borders the mystical, untouched rainforest. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch Day 3: ARENAL After breakfast, Zip line adventure! You’re the king of the jungle! Strap on a harness, click onto suspended wires, zip line through treetops and soar across the sky. This expertly guided adventure is the thrill of a lifetime! Late afternoon get whisked away to Ecotermales Thermal Spa for dinner and relaxing soak at these remarkable hot springs. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner Day 4: ARENAL Sarapiqui River White Water Rafting Trip Travel through the rainforest to a rollicking river for a wet and wild rafting adventure! Shoot down roaring rapids and bob over gushing waters as a forest full of exotic creatures glides by. Enjoy a rafting adventure in Class III-IV rapids; or opt for a serene paddle trip on quieter waters. Take a break from your whitewater adventure with an unforgettable picnic on the bank of the river. Toast to your rainforest adventure and swap stories with newly made friends at your leisure. Kick back and relax as we check you out of the resort, handle your luggage and shuttle you to a brief and scenic flight on Twin Otter Aircraft to the captivating Costa Rican coastline and your destination Hotel Arenas del Mar. Paradise found! This tropical resort overlooking the ocean, surrounded by a lush rainforest, has beautiful swimming pools and a luxurious spa. With swimming, walking trails, and bird watching, there is something to enchant everyone! Meals Included: Breakfast Day 6: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK Guided hike through ancient forests and search for exotic animals including mischievous monkeys, bizarre birds and giant sloths. This unforgettable guided tour reveals the magical mysteries of the coastal rainforest. Afternoon activities at your leisure and your opportunity to choose from enjoying the amenities at the Hotel Arenas del Mar to shopping in the bustling seaside village of Quepos.
