RECOMENDATIONS
Long sleeve shirt or rash guard, swimsuit and/or shorts of a quick drying material; towel; sun screen (spf-15 or higher); bug repellent, complete change of clothes. Rubber soled shoes that stay on and can get wet (Strap on sandals, tennis shoes or similar). Flip flops are not recommended.
TOUR INCLUDES:
Transfers from Manuel Antonio/Quepos to and from Savegre River; river snack, all the specialized gear needed for the activity (helmets, life jackets); professional & bilingual white water rafting safety kayaker.
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Savegre River Tubing: Our new tour is an authentic adventure for families, students and groups of people seeking to enjoy the fantastic landscapes the Savegre River offers. It takes 40 minutes through the oil palm plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river put-in. We will start where the river tames down and only trains of waves will refresh our float trip downriver. After a safety briefing we start class II rapids like “Initiation” “Golden Seal” and “Otter trail”. To then enjoy the pacific waters of one of the cleanest rivers in Central America. The Jungle tubing adventure is perfect for all those age 10 and over. The gently flowing waters, beautiful scenery of the Savegre River are combine for a relaxing, fun and fascinating experience. You will have a safety kayaker that leads the trip and he will be in charge of safety. We will enjoy a snack of drinks, fresh fruits and cookies at the end of our trip. From the take out the drive back to Manuel Antonio is 30 minutes.
