Poás Volcano National Park:
Next, we will journey to the Poás Volcano, an active 2,708-meter stratovolcano located in the heart of Costa Rica. As we ascend, you’ll notice a dramatic change in temperature and vegetation, passing vibrant coffee plantations, fern farms, and flower fields that paint the landscape in brilliant colors. At Poás, marvel at the main crater, which spans over a mile in diameter and reaches a depth of 1,050 feet. Witness the sulfur fumaroles as you learn about the geological activity that makes this volcano one of the most fascinating in the world. After visiting the crater, you’ll enjoy a scenic hike to Botos Lagoon, surrounded by the lush cloud forest and a diverse ecosystem.
La Paz Waterfall Gardens:
