The Wildife Refuge of Monteverde is a protected area of about 30 hectares of land between the cloud forests of Monteverde and the dry forests of the Pacific. This diverse ecosystem gives life to a diverse and abundant amount of wildlife. And night hikes are a great way to see all of the animals and the creatures that slow down their rhythms and come out at night.

Your guide will take out on a hike with a special UV flashlight to point out amazing wildlife. Have you ever seen a sleeping bird? On this tour you will see famous Quetzels, toucans, bellbirds and more in their most peaceful state. Many people often see mammals like kinkajous, sloths, olingos and monkeys as well as snakes, tarantulas, frogs and amazing insects.
