ITINERARY

DAY 1 –  MANAGUA
Arrival in Managua’s International Airport Augusto C. Sandino where our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.  

DAY 2 –  MANAGUA
Pick up at your hotel for city tour in Managua: You will know places Such as Avenida Hugo Chavez, Puerto Salvador Allende, Plaza de The Revolution, Old Cathedral of Managua, Paseo Xolotlán.   Overnite in Managua (B)

DAY 3 –  MANAGUA / GRANADA
Early morning pick up at your hotel for transfer to the colonial city of Granada.  In the afternoon, you'll be picked up you at your hotel for a tour of the Isletas de Granada, considered one of the most attractive natural paradises in Nicaragua.  It is an archipelago of more than 365 islets in the Great Lake of Nicaragua (Lake Cocibolca) which are presumed to have been formed thousands of years ago by the eruption of a volcano.  Traveling in a small boat through the islets is an attractive, fun and relaxed way to travel the narrow canals that separate the islands and appreciate all the splendor and immensity of the Great Lake of Nicaragua.  Afternoon at leisure.  Overnite in Granada (B) 

DAY 4 –  GRANADA / MASAYA
Early morning pick up at your hotel for journey to visit the city of Masaya with its active Volcano, and smoking crater. Visitors can peek over the edge at the Masaya Volcano, and enjoy the impressive crater, which is continuously emitting smoke and sulfur gases. From this central crater it is possible to start hiking to other craters or viewpoints.  Afterwards, our driver will take you to the Arts Market where you'll have the opportunity to admire ceramics, woodcrafts, hammocks, jewelry, Cigars, leather work & more! Before returning to the hotel, enjoy a scenic panoramic view of the  Apoyo crater lake. Overnite in Granada (B) 

DAY 5 –  GRANADA / OMETEPE
Early morning pick up at your hotel to travel to the beautiful and enchanting island of Ometepe, nominated for the last 7 wonders of the world for being the only island within a freshwater lake with two volcanoes, one of which is active.  The ferries leave for the island from the port of San Jorge de Rivas.  Upon arriving at the port of Moyogalpa we will visit Punta Jesus Maria, located 5 km from Moyogalpa on the road to Altagracia.   Punta Jesus Maria is very unique in that it is a stretch of narrow land that extends into Lake Cocibolca as far as one kilometer in the dry season.  Afterwards, there will be a visit to the lagoons of Charco Verde and the Butterfly Biosphere Reserve.  Overnite in Ometepe (B) 

DAY 6– OMETEPE
​Morning kayaking tour along the mangroves of Lake Nicaragua.  Afternoon free to relax and enjoy a swim in the lake.  Overnite in Ometepe (B)

DAY 7 –  OMETEPE / MANZANILLO BEACH
Early morning pick up at your hotel for ferry back to the mainland and transfer to Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa Resort located in Nicaragua's Emerald Coast. The accommodations at Mukul offer space and privacy in a style that fully embodies and compliments the natural surroundings.  Views of the ocean come standard. Craft furnishings and decorations come straight from Nicaraguan artisans – carved native teak tables, sugarcane twig headboards and rum barrel staves.  Bohio ocean view.  (B)

DAYS 8, 9 –  MANZANILLO BEACH
​Days on your own to relax or plan to enjoy the area. Overnight at Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa, Bohio ocean view.  (B) 

DAY 10 –  MANZANILLO BEACH / RETURN HOME
​Pick up at your hotel for transfer to airport for flight back to Managua and connect with your return flight home.   (B)
