They are located on the best beach on the Osa. This six mile long, gorgeous, deserted stretch of beach is made for swimming, boogie boarding, and kayaking. You can kayak (or take a strenuous swim) to the nearby reef and snorkel for hours. The warm tropical water is sublime – around eighty-four degrees. You can walk for miles without seeing another person, but you can’t avoid the scarlet macaws.

The Iguana Lodge offers three great and affordable lodging options: the secluded Casitas, the towering Villa Villa Kula, and the elegant, upscale Club Rooms, excellent food, and a virgin six-mile stretch of sandy beach that is by far and away the most beautiful on the Osa (great for swimming or just romantic strolls).
