Hotel Aguti Lodge & Reserve is located just 5 minutes away from the center of Monteverde, and adjacent to the Aguti Reserve. It has spacious rooms in five categories, beautiful views of the Nicoya Gulf from the Junior Suite and Family Suite. From the Bar and Restaurant area, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. Our guest have access to 4 kilometers of self-guided trails and the bungalows are finely located within the forest. Our Hotel and Reserve are focused in the conservation and sustainability of our natural resources.

The Koora ( Aguti)  Reserve currently develops several conservation and research projects, such as the reforestation of our endemic tree (Ocotea monteverdensis), which at this moment is in danger of extinction and its fruit is preferred by birds such as the bell bird and the quetzal.

Our restaurant maintains standards of social responsibility that allow us to bring to your palate products of very high quality craftsmanship. We are committed to buy only local producers who, in turn, work in a sustainable way to preserve natural resources, this includes responsible fishing.

Its characterized for being a large room in which a lot of light comes in, its has mezzamine, a bath room and half, beautiful views and a lot of confort. We have 3 room of this type and the panoramic views of the surronding forest, the gulf of Nicoya and Pacific Ocean

Aguti Wildlife Reserve This protected area is part of the great conservation complex that includes the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, Children's Eternal Rainforest, Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, among other conservation efforts that exist in the area. 
Monteverde is Costa Rica`s most internationally recognize ecotourism destination. The reserve itself with the extensive network of private reserves around it are incredibly rich in biodiversity, and a well-organized infrastructure helps guarantee a rewarding experience for both first-time and experienced eco-adventurers.
