Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel, dedicated to ecotourism, is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. You’ll find the hacienda surrounded by bountiful gardens with native trees, exotic flowers, a great variety of birds and astonishing views of the volcano as well as at the Pacific Ocean.

There is  variety of “adventure” activities offered such as; horseback riding, canopy tours, tubing at the rapids of the Río Negro, various hiking trails, natural hot water springs, rivers, crystal clear waterfalls, virgin forests with birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. Hacienda Guachipelin is a down-to-earth, yet comfortable hotel catering to nature lovers and adventure travelers. There are Standard and Superior Rooms. The Superior Rooms have air conditioning, Atvs, are more spacious, and are located in the newer buildings of the hotel with better views of the area.  The Standard Rooms also offer air conditioning and are located near the reception area, swimming pool and bar, and or  cattle corrals.

All rooms have two beds, either two doubles or one double and one single.  It’s also possible to include an extra single bed upon request.  Additionally, each room has a safe deposit box, and a private bathroom with solar heated water.

The reception area and the bar by the swimming pool are housed in a building that’s over a century old and is part of the original Hacienda. Here you receive your welcoming drink, while you sit and relax on the chaise lounges and rocking chairs.
