You will be picked up by a nature guide from your hotel and he or she will start giving you an explanation of the fun things you will be about to see and do and a little history about the volcano, natural environment and a little history lesson. We enter the Arenal Volcano National Park area for the afternoon tour and will likely use the Arenal Volcano National Park Penninsula walking path later in the afternoon as it is better for birding and natural wildlife near Lake Arenal. Learn about the curious wildlife such as sloths and monkeys or toucans that live in the area and share a snack at the end. When you finish, you'll board our van again and head back toward the town of La Fortuna to arrive to the Baldi Hot Springs. Your guide will assist you with getting your wrist bands and coordinate the pick up time. You'll be directed to the locker rooms and can then go on to enjoy the vast facilities. Baldi is a large property considered the largest hot springs resort in the world complete with water slides, swim up bars, different temperature pools and spa. If you'd like to add a meal to your trip, please let us know as Baldi has a large, varied buffet and many people get hungry after absorbing the warm vibes of the natural hot springs waters of Baldi. |
