DAY 1 - SAN JOSE
Arrival in San Jose’s Juan Santamaria International Airport, where our driver will be waiting for you to transport you to your hotel.

Welcome to Costa Rica

Day 2, 3 and 4 -  CORCOVADO / CANO ISLAND
Transfer to San Jose's International Airport for flight to Palmar Sur and then ground and boat transportation to Casa Corcovado Jungle  Lodge  in Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula to visit Corcovado National Park. Corcovado  National Park is an undeniably beautiful place, considered to be one of the most important natural preserves in the Americas, this virgin rain forest park invites superlatives from all who visit. At least  thirteen distinct vegetation types in close proximity, including  mangroves, palm swamps and bloodweed forest make Corcovado a  botanist's dream. Jaguars, giant teaters, hundreds of white-lipped peccaries, tapers, and a host of rare rain forest animals inhabit the vast reaches surrounding the crocodile-filled lagoon at the park's center. The captivating visual beauty of its forest and of  its coastline, with miles of uninhabited beaches and roaring cascades, draws visitors from all over the world.....

Day 5 - CORCOVADO / ARENAL
Morning ground and boat transfer to airport in Palmar Sur for flight back to San Jose where you will pick up your rental car for drive to the Arenal Volcano  (B)

Day 6 - ARENAL / CANO NEGRO RESERVE / TABACON 
You will be picked up early at your hotel for Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge Boat Tour along Rio Frio
The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge encompasses an area of about 10,000 hectares near the border with Nicaragua. On this nature boat tour, you will do a peaceful ride in a covered motorboat along Rio Frio to appreciate the beautiful nauture and wildlife of this unique area of Costa Rica. This is considered one of the richest areas in biological diversity in Costa Rica and the world!  Afternoon / early evening scheduled visit for a relaxing soak and dinner at the thermal waters of Tabacon Spa.  Enjoy thermal rivers with large waterfalls to sit under for a wonderful massage, or stand behind a natural sauna. All of this with the volcano right in front of you (B, L, D)

Day 7  SAN JOSE
After breakfast and an optional morning hike or horseback ride, leave Arenal at your discretion for drive back to San Jose and chance for some last minute shopping and enjoy the city’s lively nightlife (B)
 
Day 8 - RETURN HOME

Rate start at $1,350 per person based on double occupancy and will vary depending on dates, occupancy, and hotels.
