Explore the Wonders of Costa Rica: From Poás Volcano to Artisan Towns
Our journey continues to Poás Volcano National Park, home to an impressive active stratovolcano standing at 2,708 meters (8,885 feet). The volcano’s massive crater spans over a mile across and reaches a depth of 1,050 feet. With a history of 40 eruptions since 1828, including a notable event in April 2017, Poás is a geological marvel. At the volcano, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the stunning main crater and its sulfur fumaroles.
Following our volcanic adventure, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at Doka Estate, where you can delve into the world of Costa Rica’s golden bean—a term that highlights the country’s unique and flavorful coffee. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey through picturesque fern, flower, and strawberry farms, taking in the stunning scenic vistas along the way.
Our next stop is the charming town of Grecia, recognized as one of the cleanest towns in Latin America. Here, you'll visit the remarkable Metal Church, a rare architectural gem in Central America and a proud national monument. To immerse yourself in the local culture, we’ll also explore the central market area of Grecia, where you can experience the town’s vibrant lifestyle.
Our final destination is the town of Sarchí, celebrated as the cradle of Costa Rican artistry. In Sarchí, you’ll witness the creation of the famous typical oxcarts and have the chance to shop for unique souvenirs crafted by local artisans. This stop provides a perfect conclusion to your day, offering memorable gifts to take home.

Cancellation must be made a full 48 hours prior to the service, otherwise a penalty of 100% will be applied 90% refund if cancel 48 hours or more (10% charged to cover bank refund fees).
