Your journey begins with a scenic drive to the Arenal Volcano, with a stop in Sarchí, the heart of Costa Rican craftsmanship. Sarchí is home to the world’s largest ox cart, a vibrant wooden masterpiece measuring two stories high and weighing 2 tons. Intricately decorated with traditional colors, this massive cart took 70 days to create and holds an official spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
After your visit to Sarchí, continue through scenic agricultural landscapes, including pineapple and mango groves, plantain farms, and cattle ranches, offering a picturesque view of Costa Rica’s rural life. After lunch, it’s time to unwind and indulge in the soothing waters of Ecotermales Hot Springs, nestled in the rainforest beneath the Arenal Volcano.
