Day 1 - SAN JOSE
Arrival in San Jose’s international airport where our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to the 5* Hotel Radisson Europa; https://www.rainforesttours.com/radisson-europa-hotel.html
Day 2 - SAN JOSE / RIVER PACUARE (CLASS III-IV) / ARENAL VOLCANO
Early morning pick up at the hotel for an exciting day of white-water rafting on the Pacuare River, Costa Rica's most scenic and the quintessential tropical river with; lushly vegetated
gorges, waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and ravishing rapids.
Total trip length - 18 miles, difficulty - Class (III-IV).
Afterwards transfer to the Arenal Volcano area and Hotel Mountain Paradise; https://www.rainforesttours.com/arenal-mountain-paradise.html (B,L)
Day 3 – ARENAL
Morning Canyoning Tour; http://www.rainforesttours.com/arenal_canyoning.htm From the first waterfall you will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. The adventure includes four rappels, three of which are along waterfalls, and one dry rock face. Then just a short trek out of the canyon, jump in the vehicles and head back to the base camp .
Afternoon Canopy Tour (zip line) then a scheduled visit for a relaxing soak and dinner at the thermal waters of Tabacon Spa.
Enjoy thermal rivers with large waterfalls to sit under for a wonderful massage, or stand behind a natural sauna. All of this with the volcano right in front of you. Top it all off with a buffet dinner at the resort. Overnite at Mountain Paradise (B, D)
Day 4 - ARENAL
After an early morning breakfast, tour to the Rio Fortuna waterfall and
hike down a steep trail to the base of the waterfall, where you can
Enjoy a cool swim in the river's crystal clear waters or just enjoy the
exuberant vegetation surrounding the canyon. After a hearty lunch, begin a
1/2 hour hike crossing a beautiful stream and then a nice trail to the
Extinct lava fields. Walking over the lava rocks, one has a fantastic view of the mighty Arenal Volcano on one side
and Lake Arenal on the other. You might even be able to observe some of
the wildlife of the area. Overnite at Hotel Mountain Paradise (B, L)
Day 5 - ARENAL / RIO CELESTE / TENORIO VOLCANO
Early morning pick up at your hotel for tour Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano National Park, where we’ll begin our 5 miles hike (approximately 4 hours) through the tropical rain forest. We’ll arrive “Los Teñideros” of the Rio Celeste, the site where two streams of crystalline water come together and form the heavenly color blue that gives the river its name.
We’ll continue our hike through the jungle to seek out the volcano’s furnace vents that expel gases of extreme high temperatures. On our descent we will get to see the spectacular Rio Celeste waterfall whose color makes it one of a kind. Our final reward is an exquisite lunch at the end of our journey. Highlights of the tour include ; Walk in the National Park over an amazing trails, Know “Los Teñideros” of the Celeste River, Through the jungle can observe the volcano’s furnace vents that expel gases of extreme high temperatures, Can see the spectacular Rio Celeste waterfall whose color makes it gorgeous. Day 6 - ARENAL / MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST -

Day 7 - MONTEVERDE
After breakfast, you will be picked up for Selvatura tour with a frog exhibit, butterfly garden, hanging bridges and Canopy Tour (zip line). Afternoon free to explore on your own (B)
Day 8 – MONTEVERDE / SAN JOSE / RETURN HOME
Pick up at hotel for transfer to San Jose's International Airport and return flight home (B)
