Construction will beging if concessions for the piers on the Caribbean coast are given.
One of these piers will be able to handle medium-sized ships that travel throughout Central America, the Caribbean and the United States.
The other 3 piers won’t be ready until 2016. The construction requires a breakwater stretching 2.5 kilometers into the open sea from the Moin beach.
