Rio Parismina is a new resort lodge located on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Built on over 50 private acres of lush jungle on the banks of the famous Parismina River. Here, you'll find newer, better boats and equipment, more personal comforts, including a pool and Jacuzzi. All this at prices comparable to or lower than other lodges in the region. Rio Parismina Lodge is open year-round with the exception of December and the first week of January.

We offer larger, safer, more stable and better equipped boats for ocean fishing in choppy waters. Our new fleet of 21 foot modified V-hull ocean craft are custom designed and built especially for Parismina's ocean conditions. This means that we can assure you the chance of Tarpon fishing more than any other competing lodge.

What's more, these new ocean craft give you the option of fishing a virgin reef a few miles off-coast - for Snapper, Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel and other major game fish. We have the most experienced English speaking guides in the area. Our kitchen staff is very accomplished and we offer a wide variety of gourmet and native dishes. Even the most diet conscious guests have ordered seconds of our famous desserts.

Rio Parismina Lodge is situated 5 kilometers from Tortuguero National Park, giving our guests the opportunity of seeing endless wildlife. There are over 850 species of birds and literally thousands of different plants and flowers. The fauna of the area is varied and it is assured that every guest can see howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, toucans, sloths and many other species of exotic animals. Tortuguero, which is derived from the Spanish word for "turtle", is also famous for the abundance of nesting turtles. These giant sea creatures come to land each year to lay their eggs. It is here on the beaches of the national park that you can see the giant leatherback turtle (which is the largest turtle in the world), the green turtle, the loggerhead turtle and other species. Every week during nesting season we offer an optional turtle excursion. All of our guests have been fascinated with these magnificent sea turtles.

All rates quoted here include: 2 nights in San Jose at first class cosmopolitan hotel, luxury accommodations and all beverages and gourmet meals at the lodge, fishing guide, use of our specially built state-of-the-art ocean craft, valid Costa Rican fishing license, pre-scheduled charter transportation to and from the lodge, and all airport transfers.

THE CLASSIC - Enjoy lodge accommodations Saturday to Saturday or Tuesday to Tuesday and get in 7-full days of fishing! Ideal for fishing couples or for you and another fishing partner. You will share a cabin, guide, boat and motor during your stay. cost: $ 3,100 per person, double occupancy	THE SOLO CLASSIC - 7 full days of fishing. This trip assures you complete privacy, with exclusive use of your own single occupancy cabin, guide, boat and motor throughout your stay - so you can fish when, where and however you please! cost: $ 3,350 single occupancy
THE LONG WEEKEND SPECIAL - Three full days of fishing. Can't take a full week off, but still want to sample the thrill of fishing Parismina at it's best? The Saturday to Monday special lets you enjoy 3 full days of fishing. Arrive at the lodge Saturday morning early, fish Saturday through Monday, and depart the lodge Tuesday morning. cost: $ 1,850 per person double occupancy; $ 2,050 per person single occupancy	THE MID-WEEK SPECIAL - A Tuesday to Saturday trip designed to let you enjoy 4 full days of fishing excitement, yet still get to where you need to go by the early weekend. Arrive at the lodge early Tuesday morning, fish Tuesday through Friday, depart the lodge Saturday morning. cost: $ 2,100 per person double occupancy; $ 2,300 per person single occupancy
COUPLES CLASSIC - must be two couples or multiple of two. Ideal for couples when one spouse does not want to fish. Enjoy lodge accommodations and full 7 days of fishing! Fishing partners: $ 2,800 double occupancy to boat per person. Non Fishing partners: $ 1,750 per person/must be two non fishing or multiple of 2. This package works best for 2-6 couples. Non fishing activities include: Sightseeing Parismina National Park tour Night sea turtle excursion swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
3 Day non fishing price per person: $ 1,250 4 Day non fishing price per person: $ 1,500 Additional days fishing, double or single occupancy per person: $ 425
