The central Pacific Coast is home to many different reefs, the majority of these are made of volcanic and coral formation with depth ranging between 8 to 35 meters (25' - 110'). There are several dive sites around Isla Tortuga. All these we dive due according to current and visibility conditions. The amazing variety of tropical fish include: Blue spotted jacks, several species of moray, Manta Ray, Spotted Eagle Raya, Puffer, etc.

The temperature of the water varies between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius (78°-82°) with visibility ranging from 5 to 30 meters (18- 95') depending on the season. |

Isla Tortuga Diving club, is the only CMAS Diving Center-School in Costa Rica and offers its service on board the comfortable “32 Dive Boat Garabito”. Complete dive package include CMAS course (World Confederation of Underwater Activities), with international license and for the non-divers who would like an introduction to the beautiful underwater world, there is a “Discovery” course offered. This is an excellent opportunity for those not certified to experience first hand the wonders of the sea. |

Option 1 - Discover Scuba Diving (2 hours)
- One day course for those who want to experience scuba diving. Class lecture and practice on the beach of the island and experience open water diving in the shimmering waters of the island with the diving school "Tortuga Island Diving Club".

Option 2 - For certified Divers (PADI)
- 2 dives at Tortuga Island, (1 hour aprox)
